What it does

01

Digs Faster

Engineered to reduce resistance and improve blade entry in hard, compacted, or rocky ground. Less effort per stroke. More trench per hour. Attaches to the shovel already on your truck.

02

Tamps Clean

The same tool that opens the ground closes it properly. Built-in hand tamper means no second trip to the truck, no separate implement. It's already in your hand when you need it.

03

Lifts Right

Changes the mechanical load of a full shovel lift. Designed to reduce strain on the lower back over the course of a full day — and a full career in the trade.

Built for

The people
who do the
actual work

If your job puts you in the ground — digging trenches, setting lines, planting trees, laying pipe — this tool was designed for you. Not for the showroom. Not for the weekend gardener. For the people who dig for a living.

Why Varden exists

"I looked at what was out there. Nothing addressed all three. So I built something."

Over twenty years in landscaping, irrigation, and design-build work. Thousands of hours in the ground. The same frustrations, every job — digging in hard soil, compacting without a second tool, lifting a loaded blade without wrecking your back.

Varden started as a field problem that needed a real solution. Prototype built, field tested, documented, and now patent pending. The tool works. We're bringing it to market.
